What types of organisations do you typically work with? +
We work with small-to-mid-sized Malaysian businesses, professional firms, and growing organisations that have outpaced their original positioning or communications approach. Our clients tend to be at an inflection point — raising a new round, entering a new market, or trying to consolidate a fragmented public identity. We are not suited to large multinational rollouts.
How does an engagement typically begin? +
We start with a brief scoping call to understand what you are facing and whether our work is a reasonable fit. If there is mutual interest, we send a proposal outlining scope, deliverables, timeline, and fee. There is no commitment until both parties have agreed on terms in writing.
What does the engagement process look like day-to-day? +
Most engagements involve an initial discovery session, followed by one or two working sessions where we share interim findings and test thinking with your team. We then prepare the final deliverable and present it in a closing session. The level of access required from your team is deliberately kept reasonable — typically 4–6 hours of your time across the engagement.
Are pricing details fixed or can they vary? +
The listed prices are starting figures for standard scoped engagements. More complex organisations — those with multiple divisions, markets, or audience segments — may require a broader scope, which would be reflected in the proposal. We are transparent about this early in the process.
How do you handle confidentiality? +
We sign mutual non-disclosure agreements before any meaningful information is exchanged. Confidentiality is treated as a baseline condition of our work, not something clients need to request separately. Work product and internal findings remain the property of the client.
Can Strandwell support implementation after the engagement? +
Our core work is strategic and advisory. We do not run campaigns, build websites, or manage communications on behalf of clients. However, if it is useful, we are happy to provide a short advisory check-in a few months post-delivery to see how the work has been applied.
